In the contest to create a common logo for the four school partners , the Spanish student Enrique Ganfornina Martín-Niño, from 4º ESO A, has been the winner. This has been his creation:

The Greek coordinators could not attend the meeting.

“Castillo de Luna” Secondary School in Rota(Spain), has been selected to coordinate the European Commission’s educational program called “Erasmus +” and will be held in school years, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018.
Only nine schools in the province of Cadiz have been selected to host these international projects in the field of the European Union and a total of 396 all over Spain.
LAST SCHOOL YEAR, the English Department teacher, María Carmen Ruiz-Mateos, submitted the application and was approved. “Castillo de Luna “will be the coordinating centre for an extensive program of activities together with other Secondary schools from three European countries: Romania, Poland and Greece. Throughout the current and the next school years, a constant exchange of experiences will be maintained, as well as the visits to these countries by the students and teachers participating in the project.
Based on the focal point of promoting social involvement in the students, the target theme chosen for carrying out the activities shared between the participating schools will be “Refugees and the role of borders in the EU”.
